Have A Heart, Second Start Foundation is a non-profit organization operating under the 501(c)(3) status, dedicated to providing life-changing opportunities for at-risk youth from inner cities. Our mission is to empower these young individuals by offering them a second chance at life through a unique program that combines hands-on vocational training with equine therapy.

At our ranch, we believe in teaching practical life skills that can help our youth build a solid foundation for their future. Through our comprehensive program, participants are exposed to various trades such as plumbing, electrical work, construction, and horsemanship. By engaging in these activities, they not only gain valuable technical skills but also learn the importance of discipline, teamwork, and responsibility.

One of the key components of our program is our focus on equine therapy. We firmly believe that working with horses can have a profound impact on the emotional and psychological well-being of our youth. Interacting with these magnificent animals fosters empathy, patience, and effective communication, teaching our participants invaluable life lessons that extend far beyond the ranch.

We understand that providing them with a job opportunity is crucial in ensuring a successful transition into adulthood. By offering meaningful employment, we aim to empower them to become self-sufficient individuals who can contribute positively to their communities.

At Have A Heart, Second Start Foundation, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of at-risk youth. Through vocational training, equine therapy, and employment opportunities, we provide them with the tools they need to overcome adversity and build a brighter future. With your support, we can continue to empower these young individuals, offering them hope, guidance, and a second chance at life.
